Job Description
A Sales Associate should be prepared to complete the following duties:
- Greet customers and assist with shopping and buying needs.
- Answer questions about the store and the merchandise. –Describe merchandise and explain use and care of merchandise to customers.
- Know the current sales and promotions, policies regarding payment and exchanges.
- Cash register responsibilities. This will include handling and counting American currency.
- Arrange and display merchandise to promote sales.
- Clean shelves, counter and tables. Take trash out and vacuum when necessary.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Benefits
- Participants can expect the same number of hours each month, up to 40 hours a week.

Participants will be housed with other international students in apartments. Each participant will have his/her own bed. Participants will share rooms with a maximum of 3 people per room. There will be two bedrooms per apartment and two full bathrooms per unit.
There will be a separate housing contract that participants must also adhere to and sign.

Located on the inner side of Saco Bay on the Atlantic Ocean, the town is a popular summer beach destination. The downtown contains many tourist- oriented businesses, including clam shacks and T-shirt shops. A wooden pier on the beach contains many
other tourist businesses, including a variety of souvenir shops. The seven mile (11 km) long beach stretching away from the downtown is lined with many beach residential properties, condominiums, motels and bed and breakfasts.
