Hotel/Resort Worker : Participant may be placed in one of these positions upon arrival. Additional duties may beassigned.

• Server: pay $ 5.15 + tips, guaranteed $7.25. A restaurant server’s job is to ensure a positive dining experience by assisting customers with placing and receiving orders, addressing their needs, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. They greet guests, take orders, deliver food and drinks, check in with customers, and handle payments.
• Housekeeping: Cleans guest suites in an allotted period determined by management using the proper procedures and chemicals provided by management. Duties include but are not limited to: cleaning guest rooms and public areas, making beds refreshing linens, collecting trash from trash bins and providing customer service.
• Busser/Food Runner:  Clears and cleans tables after customer has left. Prepares tables for the next customer. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Deliver food to customers from the kitchen.Other duties may be assigned. Removes all dishes, trash, napkins, etc. from the table and floor. Buses all tables within 1-2 minutes after customer has left. Wipes tables with a sanitized towel and resets all condiments. Wipes all chairs and picks up and sweeps around the tables. Cleans restrooms and reports any plumbing problems to management. Refills water, tea, and coffee if needed. Informs a manager as soon as a guest has a complaint or problem. Assists servers when necessary. Follows the safety rules provided in the Landry’s Restaurants, Inc. Safety Program found in the Employee Orientation Manual and reports any safety hazards to management.
• Pool Activities Attendant: responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and order of the pool area. He/she is also responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the pool slide for all guests.
• Steward: is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of all china, glass and silver, and ensuring the highest standards of sanitation. He/she is also responsible for assisting the kitchen staff in maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and all storage areas; specifically for cleaning all equipment utensils, and the physical work area. He/she is also responsible for assisting with food storage and rotation.

Required skills : Participant will be working with chemicals on a daily basis. Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to bend and crouch frequently without trouble. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds without trouble. Must be able to work in and outdoors.

Work schedule : Between 6am – 10pm. No fixed schedule available, will be working weekends and holidays.

Average hours over 2 weeks period : Average of 32 hours per week hours per week
