Job Description
Busser/Food runner/Host:
The role of a Restaurant Busser/Food runner is to take food from the kitchen and delivery to the correct patrons in the restaurant. Their job is to alleviate pressure from service staff and ensure excellent and timely
customer service is maintained. In addition, they also assist in protecting the establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation and safety policies.
Essential Functions
- Greet each guest, enthusiastically and with a smile to create a friendly positive experience.
- Work with restaurant staff to create a positive dining experience for guests.
- Assists bussers and service staff in preparing the restaurant for patrons by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service.
- Assists bussers and service staff with maintaining table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary.
- Refilling water glasses as necessary.
- Supports service staff and kitchen by retrieving food orders from kitchen and any other requested supplies to patrons in the restaurant in a timely manner.
- Maintains highest level of sanitation throughout all work areas.
- Alert servers when tables are in need of attention.
- Assist in clearing tables and remove dishes after the party leaves.
- Assists in carrying loads of soiled dishes to the dishwasher to be cleaned.
- Ensure availability of clean dishes, flatware, glasses, straws, napkins, and other dining materials.
- Relay guest issues or suggestions to the manager.
- Assisting with special events as needed.
- Understand and can communicate products and services available at the Lodge.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
- Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedure.
Work schedule: Varies can be scheduled between 6:00AM – 11:00 PM
Special requirements: Housing is tied into this offer.*
If you are fired or let go from this placement you will need to vacate the housing as well.
Estimated tips: THIS IS A TIPPED POSITION: Participants will be guaranteed a minimum of $8/hour. Estimated Tipp at $20-100 per shift.

Additional comments: Welcome to The Lodge at Glendorn. In exchange for housing on property, you agree to the following policies:
1.No parties will be held inside of your apartment or outside of it.
2.No loud music at any time.
3.No smoking inside the apartment will be permitted, smoking outside in designated areas only.
4.No pets at any time
5.No outside guests are allowed unless prior approval is given by the Executive Chef. If there is an exclusive booked for the property, nobody that is not employed by Glendorn or part of the exclusive group will be allowed.
6.You may not give our gate code to anyone that is not a paying guest of Glendorn.
7.If you have a personal vehicle, you may park/store it in a designated parking area.
8.No fraternizing with our guests after hours and during business hours, even if the guest requests that you do so.
9.You may not use Glendorn vehicles or use equipment without permission from Executive Chef.
10.You may use the exercise facilities, pool, and utilize other activities on property during non-peak hours with respect to the facilities and property.
11.You are responsible for keeping the apartment and property in good condition. We are waiving a security deposit relating to housing; if there is any damage prior to check-out, you will be fully liable for that damage(s). We hold the right to inspect the apartment at any time with 24hrs prior notice. If there are any deficiencies with the apartment during your mstay, you must report it immediately to the Executive Chef and/or Chief Engineer. As a reminder, our guests at Glendorn are paying a premium to stay at the estate, be courteous to them at all times.
