Resort Appearance Attendant
Reports to: Resort Appearance Manager
The Resort Appearance Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the
resort public areas including all restaurants, lobby, indoor/outdoor waterpark, parking
lots, etc.

  How I can Create Guests for Life:
• Thoroughly clean using cleaning agents and equipment.
• Vacuum lobby, offices, and public areas as needed.
• Empty trash as required.
• Sweep and mop the lobby and public restrooms.
• Clear debris and dust the public areas.
• Power washing and vacuuming pools.
• Clean resort entry doors on a regular basis to maintain a smudge-free appearance.
• Keep passkey or master-key secure and return to the Security Office at the end of
  every shift.
• Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests.
• Respond to guest questions. Provide guest assistance, directions, and information as
  requested.
• Provide instruction and/or guidance for guest and crew members’ safety in fire or
  other emergency situations.

Work schedule : Hours may vary between 8am – 11pm

Average hours per week : 32hr

Lifeguard
Reports to: Aquatics Management
Lifeguards are responsible for providing guests with an exceptional experience while
ensuring safe and proper usage of the facilities by communicating rules and active
supervision of the pool areas and slides. Candidates hired will receive paid training that
includes standard first aid, CPR, and an Ellis & Associates Lifeguard License.

Primary Responsibilities :

• Lifeguards need to always be attentive to surroundings by visually scanning their area
  of responsibility.
• Responsible for communicating and calmly enforcing park rules and regulations.
• Provide immediate care, assistance, or rescue to guests as needed.
• Required to maintain a high level of knowledge of the resort and waterpark policies to
  answer guest questions.
• Lifeguards are also responsible for maintaining their lifeguard license by attending ongoing training sessions.

Required skills : 

• Must be in good physical condition with 20/20 vision with or without correction and
  normal hearing.
• Ability to swim / a pre-employment swim test may be required.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.
• Alert and strong attention to detail.
• Effective and efficient decision making.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, both in and out of water.
• Requires bending, lifting, pushing, climbing, standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to work in outside elements.
• Outgoing, friendly personalities are best suited for this position.
• Must Read and sign the Lifeguard Skill Acknowledgement and Terms of Agreement.

Required experience : Experience is preferred but not necessary.
