Job Description
Room attendant :
Room Attendant is responsible for keeping guest rooms in a hotel, motel, lodge or inn clean, safe, stocked and maintained. They are expected to be friendly and engaging when interacting with guests to project a positive image of the company.
Job Duties :
- Safe handling of cleaning products and chemicals and proper operation of cleaning equipment.
- Clean a specified number of rooms within a designated amount of time.
- Clean restrooms, furniture, hallways, lobbies, lounges, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Change bed linens and make the beds.
- Replenish towels, linens, toilet tissue, toiletries and complimentary supplies.
- Empty wastebaskets, clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked and clean.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
- Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies, using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers, hang draperies and dust window blinds.
- Wash windows, walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary to meet company standards.
- Carry heavy items and use a wheeled cart to transport supplies.
Work schedule : Schedule varies between 6am-11pm
Overtime wage (if applicable) : 1.5 X Normal rate. Overtime is offered but not guaranteed.

Pool attendant:
- You set up pool equipment at resorts, greet and check-in guests in a pleasant and professional manner, escort them to their preferred area, and provide them with clean towels.
- You maintain and upkeep the pool, and lounge areas, enforce safety rules, ensure children’s areas are kept clean, and regularly check that equipment is functioning properly.
- Answering guest questions, providing solutions to their problems, and ensuring they are completely satisfied with your services.
- Taking down and storing pool property and keeping a safe environment for adults and kids while following company policies at all times.
- Monitoring the activity of guests and ensuring their safety.
- Reporting any damages or incidences to the supervisor.
- Responsible for transactions with customers as they rent equipment, pay for pool access, parking, food or other items and services.
- Should always be alert to emergencies, whether those of a first-aid nature or a major emergency requiring a call to 911 for emergency services
Required skills :
In addition to a good command of English, this position is physically demanding and
requires:
- Ability to receive direction and perform responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team player
- Experience preferred but not required
