Salesperson’s duties
Greeting customers and advising on the product range.
– Assisting customers in their selection, explaining product features as size measure, quality.
– Maintaining order: stocking merchandise, organizing, refill /replenish merchandise, price tags, and keeping display areas clean.
– Inventory control and participation in stocktaking.
– Ensuring safety and security of goods.
– Handling promotions, discounts, and loyalty programs.

Cashier’s duties
Processing payments and issue receipts (cash, cards, mobile payments).
– Handle the cash register: cash in/out, balancing, and record
– keeping at the start and end of the shift.
– Customer service at the checkout: greet customers, assist with payment.
– Apply discounts, promotions, and loyalty programs; process returns and exchanges.
– Pack goods and maintain order and safety in the workplace.
– Resolve payment-related questions and operate the POS terminal; prevent theft.

Stockroom’s duties
– Processing incoming stock and recording inventory (similar to handling payments for accountability).
– Handle stockroom records: check in/out items, balancing inventory, and maintaining logs at the start and end of shifts.
– Assist internal customers: help staff locate and retrieve items as needed.
– Apply stockroom procedures, manage returned items, and prepare items for floor placement.
– Pack, organize, and maintain order and safety in the stockroom.
– Resolve inventory discrepancies and operate stock management systems; prevent loss or damage.

– Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
Roles and responsibilities are assigned at the discretion of the manager.

Required skills

– Standing and constant moving for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift).
– Frequent bending and stooping.
– Lifting up to 25lbs. /11 kgs.
– Accuracy and basic math skills are important.
– Must possess a high level of integrity.
– Must possess a positive attitude and work well with other team members.

Work schedule: Work schedule: shift options
a) 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. b) 4:00 p.m. – 12:00 a.m. No overtime.

Average hours over 2 weeks period: Average hours per week will be between 32-40 a week. hours per week
