Positions may possibly rotate during the entire program based on needs assigned by the Host Company. Participants cannot choose their own titles or job descriptions unless approved by HR and Alliance Abroad.
Hotel/Resort Worker roles include,
F&B Concessions:
Responsible for preparing and serving food and beverages at concession stands, ensuring quick and friendly service during events.

• Operate concession equipment and maintain cleanliness.
• Handle cash and process transactions accurately.
• Restock supplies and monitor inventory.
• Comply with food safety and hygiene standards.

Server:
Provides table service to guests, ensuring a positive dining experience.

• Take orders and deliver food and drinks promptly.
• Answer menu questions and make recommendations.
• Handle payments and maintain accurate billing.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables and dining area.

Host/Hostess:
Greets guests, manages reservations, and ensures smooth seating flow.

• Welcome guests and provide menus.
• Manage waitlists and reservations.
• Coordinate with servers for table assignments.
• Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor.

Room Attendant:
Ensures guest rooms are clean, tidy, and well-stocked.

• Clean and sanitize rooms and bathrooms.
• Replace linens and replenish amenities.
• Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Follow hotel standards and safety protocols.

Restaurant BOH:
Supports kitchen operations, including food preparation and cleaning.

• Prepare ingredients and assist in cooking.
• Wash dishes and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Assist with inventory and stock rotation.

Required skills

• Ability to receive direction and perform responsibilities in a fast paced environment
• Standing and constant moving for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
• Frequent bending and stooping , lifting up to 25lbs/11 kg
• Strong basic math skills with the ability to operate a cash register or POS system
• Positive team player
• Serving experience preferred but not required

Work schedule: Schedule may vary from 6:00 am – 00:00 am

Average hours over 2 weeks period: 32 hours per week
