A pool bar attendant is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests at a
poolside bar, ensuring a positive customer experience while maintaining cleanliness
and safety standards, including taking orders, mixing drinks, handling cash
transactions, and upholding pool rules and regulations within the designated pool area.

Key responsibilities may include :
Taking orders and serving drinks :
Efficiently taking food and beverage orders from poolside guests, preparing drinks
according to standard recipes, and delivering them promptly.

Cash handling :
Accurately processing cash transactions, managing a cash register, and following cash
handling procedures.

Inventory management :
Maintaining adequate stock levels of beverages, snacks, and bar supplies, notifying
management of low inventory items.

Cleaning and sanitation :
Keeping the bar area clean and sanitized, including wiping down counters, tables,
chairs, and glasses.

Pool safety :
Monitoring pool area for safety concerns, enforcing pool rules and regulations, and
responding to emergencies when necessary.

Customer service :
Providing friendly and attentive service to guests, addressing concerns promptly, and
creating a positive poolside atmosphere.

Set-up and breakdown :
Setting up the pool bar at the beginning of each shift, including arranging seating and
supplies, and cleaning up the area at the end of the shift.

Required skills : 

Excellent customer service skills: Ability to interact with guests in a positive and
professional manner.

Basic bartending knowledge: Familiarity with standard drink recipes and mixing
techniques.

Cash handling skills: Ability to accurately handle cash transactions and maintain proper
cash accountability.

Food safety knowledge : Understanding of proper food handling practices and hygiene
standards.

Attention to detail : Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Physical stamina : Capability to work outdoors in a fast-paced environment for extended
periods.
Flexibility : Willingness to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Work schedule : Schedule varies. Weekends and weekdays. 6 am to midnight.
