This hotel offers pet friendly rooms and maintains a non-smoking environment. Participants with allergies to animals must make their employer aware of it during the interview. Participants are NOT allowed to smoke at work. Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.

As the Housekeeper, participant will be responsible primarily to provide daily maid service for hotel rooms and general spaces of the hotel. This includes general cleaning, changing linens, vacuuming, emptying garbage, replacing supplies, etc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Participants will be assigned to clean a variety of single-room and multi-room units. Rooms have beds with a small refrigerator, microwave, bathrooms with shower/tub facilities, a common sitting space; all of which the participants will be responsible for cleaning.

Job duties:

• Clean common bathrooms daily.
• Wash and sanitize all sinks, showers, toilets, and mirrors.
• Mop bathroom floors.
• Making beds
• Fill soap dispensers, paper towel & toilet paper daily.
• Empty out all bathroom trash cans daily.
• Change shower curtains weekly.
• Empty garbage cans daily.
• Clean windowsill; dust the blinds daily.
• Clean spider webs off windows and walls.
• Doing laundry [NOTE: This will not total more than 15% of duties].

Some mornings will be spent as a Breakfast Attendant. In this role participants will be responsible primarily for setting up, maintaining and breaking down the breakfast buffet, cleaning up and maintaining the breakfast dining area. Participants must have good communication and customer service skills, as this is a fast-paced position with continual customer contact.
