As a Subway Sandwich Artist, participants will be working in a fun, fast-paced business environment. They will be assigned to prepare sandwiches, pizzas, smoothies, salads, and other menu items for customers.

Participants will be working on the “front line” where they will greet customers, take customer orders, “build” customer orders, ring up sales, and give change back to customers.

Participants will be expected to have a good command of conversational English, good personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and an open mind to experience cultures from all over the world.

Participants will be working in a busy, high volume work environment and must have excellent customer service skills, English language skills, and ability to operate a cash register. A cheerful disposition and friendly, hospitable demeanor is expected at all times while interacting with customers and co-workers.

Primary Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparing sandwiches in front of customers
• Preparing food for daily sales
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting restaurant
• Performing cashier duties when assigned

When assigned to clean the restaurant, duties may include but are not limited to: washing dishes, cutlery, and other restaurant equipment and replacing stock.

When cleaning, participants will be using and coming into contact with cleaning chemicals.

Participants must be able to frequently lift 25-35 pounds (11-16 kilograms) and stand for extended periods of time for this position.
