Job Description
Participants must be prepared to work in all role types. Participants hired on in this position will be working primarily as housekeepers. Wages vary between concentration of duties. Some cash handling in some roles. Participants will use cleaning chemicals in these position.
Roles include:
- Housekeeping: $10.00 – $15.00 per hour depending on duty assignment. Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and tidying guest rooms and property common areas. Job duties include preparing fresh linens, doing laundry (less than 15% of hours), making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning the bathroom and toilet and keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and bathrooms stocked with supplies. The breakdown on hourly pay by assignment can be found under Additional Comments on the Community page.
- Culinary: $12.00 per hour. Prep cook/dishwashers are responsible for assisting with food prep. Dishwasher works the automated dishwasher and cleans dishware/cookware.
- Restaurants/Banquets: $2.33 per hour + tips or gratuity – $8.75. Restaurant bussing, hosting, expediting, serving, bartending, barista. Banquet set up, barback, serving, bartending. Interact with guests. Ensure restaurant and event location are set up properly, kept clean and running smoothly while taking care of guests food and beverage orders during restaurant operation / event.
- Recreation: $8.25 per hour. Recreation attendants, are responsible for assisting guests in the recreation area, cleaning areas and stocking pool towels.
- Gift Shop: Cashier $10.00 per hour. Assist guests with purchases in the Gift Shop.
- Front Desk/Reservations: $10.00 per hour. (base may be higher with experience). Assist guests on phone with reservations and/or checking in/out of resort.

Front of House : Specific duties may include but are not limited to any combination of
the following :
Servers :
Are responsible to ensure that customers have an enjoyable dining experience.
- Knows all specials on a shift by shift basis as well as all liquor, beer, and wine
products and all menu items and desserts. - Present menu, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding food and service.
- Write order on check and relay customer’s order to kitchen to be filled.
- Place food servings on plates and trays according to orders or instructions.
- Monitor food distribution, ensuring that orders are delivered to the correct recipients.
- Observes diners to respond to any additional requests and determines when meal
has been completed. - Totals bill and accepts payment.
- Pre-bus (clean) other tables as well as your own, including dirty plates, glassware,condiments, trash, ashtrays, and flatware.
- Stock service stations with items such as ice, napkins, and straws.
- Clean and sterilize dishes, kitchen utensils, equipment, and facilities.
- Maintain proper grooming and uniform standards
- Follows the safety rules provided in the Safety Program found in the employee
Orientation - Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Bussers :
Are responsible to assist Servers to deliver food from the kitchen to the customer
tables as quickly as possible.
- Provides general assistance to servers to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter and water to table.
- Speedily and efficiently delivers food from the kitchen to the correct customers.
- Fill water glasses and/or pass on beverage refill orders to servers at table.
- Replenish complimentary items such as bread, butter, condiments, etc.
- Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes,
glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing. - Promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths between seating.
- Check floor and clean as required.
- Reset and arrange tabletop for the next customer.
- Inspect assigned restrooms and clean as needed.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests. Communicate guest requests to server as
needed. - Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the
restaurant as directed by the restaurant manager or immediate supervisor. - Prepares soups, salads and bread & Butter for the servers during rush periods.
- Follows all company health and safety rules.

Host/Hostess :
Are responsible to greet arriving guests, welcome them into the establishment and seat
them at a table.
- Monitors the open dining sections of the restaurant for empty and cleaned tables.
- Escorts the guests to the dining room.
- Estimates wait times for guests and monitoring the guest waiting list.
- Ensures that the needs of the guests are met while they are waiting.
- Keeps dining room occupancy chart current.
- Answers the telephone.
- Books reservations.
- Assist wait staff as needed, taking initial drink orders, moving tables together, etc.
- Inspect assigned restrooms and clean as needed.
- Complete additional duties as assigned by supervisor
Expo :
Expo position involves managing front-of-house operations, ensuring excellent
customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for guests. The role
requires effective communication and coordination with team members to deliver a
high-quality dining experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage front-of-house operations to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Provide excellent customer service to guests.
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery.
- Train and supervise front-of-house staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints effectively.
- Complete specified number of rolled silverware assigned by management
- Serve beverages and bread to guests
- Perform light duty cleaning to include use of mops and cleaners
- Run food to Guests from expo line to dining areas using tray carrying techniques
- Knowledge in handling all re-cook, special prep, long ticket, large party/voucher group
procedures - Perform opening, closing & side duties: set up, stock, and break down all kitchen
equipment and prep, line, expo stations - Assembling orders – double checking product quality and specs
- Act as a liaison between the Heart-of-the-House and Front-of-the-House staff
- Receive and order products
- Communicating professionally with co-workers and Front-of-the-House staff
Required skills : In addition to a excellent English, both written and spoken required, this position is physically demanding and may require :
- Ability to receive direction and perform responsibilities in a fast paced environment
- Standing and constant moving for long periods of time (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Frequent bending and stooping , lifting up to 25lbs/11 kg
- Strong basic math skills with the ability to operate a cash register or POS system
- Positive team player
- Serving experience preferred but not required

$400 total cash deposit required for housing, due upon arrival. $400 includes $350
deposit and $50
non-refundable cleaning fee. $80 per week for housing-Weekly housing fee is
deducted from payroll checks.
Participants sign agreement acknowledging
responsibility for keeping accommodations clean, reimbursement costs for any related
damage and rules.
Proper check-outs must be arranged in advance Tues – Fri, 9a-3p. Early departure
from program of any kind
and/or improperly arranged check-outs risks forfeiture of full deposit.
