Job Description :
Duties include cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel to a high standard. The priority is to make sure each and every guest is given exceptional service, and all their needs are met to their satisfaction. Duties include, but are not limited to picking up after a guest, cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning of showers, sinks, and toilets, keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies and doing some laundry. Some cleaning of common areas will be required as well. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties will be assigned by the supervisor as necessary. Position requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including heavy lifting, bending, and walking up and downstairs.
Must have good English skills and be friendly and outgoing.
English Level: Very Good
Dress Code: Participants are required to bring light-colored khaki shorts or pants and slip-resistant shoes that are close-toed. The employer will provide two uniform shirts.
Required Qualifications: Participants should speak very good English, be a hard worker, and have a positive attitude. Must be able to lift at least 30 pounds. Participants should be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals.
Housing Description
Participants will share a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom furnished house with a microwave, mini-refrigerator, and mini-oven.
