Job Description :
Server job duties include:
⭐ Greet and seat customers, promote specials, soup of day and drinks
⭐ Take drink orders- prepare non-alcoholic drinks or pick up alcoholic drinks from bar.
⭐ Take meal orders- enter all orders into POS (Point of Sale) system. Get sauces, dressings, salads or soup ready, serve to customers. Deliver meals to customers as soon as prepared.
⭐ Follow up with customers, engage in conversation, answer customer questions. Complete customer transactions- cash or credit card. Maintain receipts and cash for end of shift cash report.
⭐ Clear tables and prepare for next customer. Stock napkins and condiments as needed. Clean table, chairs and floor after each table leaves.
⭐ Complete side work throughout shift: Stock napkins, table condiments, sugar and creamer containers.
⭐ Prep salads, portion dressings, sauces and side dishes. Clean restrooms, sweep floors, wipe down counter tops and server staging area.
⭐ Clean server trays. Roll silverware.
⭐ Complete end of shift cash out report- enter charge tips from receipts into POS (Point of Sale) system, count cash, organize receipts. Deliver report to manager on duty.
⭐ When necessary help with general cleaning- sweeping and mopping of floors, cleaning windows, restrooms, patio areas, tables, chairs, surface areas in kitchen.
⭐ Above all, have a happy disposition and always attempt to make the customers pleased with the service and experience. Converse in English with staff members and customers while on duty.
Participants with previous bartending experience (including liquor, not just beer and wine), may be asked to complete bartending duties as well as serving duties. This would include preparing alcoholic beverages for guest orders, cleaning the bar area and other bartender related duties.
Participants qualifying for this must also be 21 years or older.
Participants will be using cleaning chemicals to complete job responsibilities.
Dress Code : The uniform for Servers is a plain black t-shirt or button down shirt with NO logos of any kind. They can also wear either blue jean pants, capris or shorts and closed-toe slip resistant shoes.
All participants are expected to be well-groomed. Females- Hair contained in ponytail, bun or with clips. Male staff- Facial hair trimmed, long hair contained (in a ponytail).
All these items can be purchased at the local Walmart or shopping centers. The employer will have a supply of t-shirts available at a cost of $10 to $15 each which can be deducted from the first paycheck. They are also able to provide transportation to purchase them.

Prep Cook/Dishwasher/Busser duties include:
⭐General cleaning of all kitchen equipment- Fryers, ovens, ranges, coolers, hood vents, storage areas, floors, prep areas.
⭐General cleaning of customer areas- Floors, patios, restrooms, tables, windows.
⭐Dishwashing- Cleaning of all dishes, silverware, glassware, pots and pans.
⭐Prepare food items under chef's direction and instruction: Prepare sauces and appetizers, cut vegetables, portion meats and portioning and packaging of prepared items.
⭐Knife skills and prior kitchen experience are helpful but not necessary. The chef is an excellent and patient trainer.
⭐During busy periods participants may also rotate into the dining room to help bus tables. This includes removing empty plates and glasses, clearing and cleaning tables at the end of customer meals, sweeping floor of debris under tables. They may also be asked to refill non-alcoholic beverages if their level of English fluency is adequate.
⭐Complete deep cleaning of kitchen at the end of the day under the direction of the chef or sous chef.
*Participants applying for this position will be required to have 6 months of line and prep cook experience.* Interview will be more detailed regarding kitchen procedures. Wage will be based on experience up to $10.00/hour.

⭐The apartment is 980 square feet with 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. It is newly renovated with full sized kitchen appliances- refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and range. There are a lot of cabinets for storage and lots of counter space. There is a large peninsula counter top for dining with storage. The bathroom is newly renovated with a walk-in shower. There is a washer and dryer in the apartment and fully furnished- dining area, living area, bedrooms with bunk beds and bedding for twin beds. Kitchen is equipped with cookware and kitchenware. Bathroom linens are included. Utilities are included in rent.
⭐There is WiFi and satellite TV as well. Everyone will have their own bed. There will be 2-4 participants in each room and 6 sharing a bathroom. There will be inspections upon move-in, throughout the summer and at move-out. If a participant is terminated or quits they will need to vacate housing within a week.
