Individuals hired for this position will begin training as bussers.
As a busser, job duties will include:
⭐Greeting and seating customers
⭐Clearing tables
⭐Sweeping the dining room floor
⭐Assisting waitresses in serving customers
Once these skills are mastered, participants will be trained as servers and counter persons.
Ability to understand and speak English is very important.
Participants must have a clear understanding of the menu and how the menu items are served.
While working as a server and counter person, job duties will include:
⭐Greeting and seating customers
⭐Answering phones
⭐Assisting at the counter with take-out orders
⭐Taking orders from customers at tables and serving food
Job duties may also include:
⭐Clearing and wiping tables
⭐Sweeping
⭐Keeping the dining room clean
⭐Preparing salads
⭐Filling all condiments used at tables
⭐Learning how to operate and use the computer system (POS)
*Participants will be required to work take-out counter as well which involves answering the phone and taking orders.
* Participants are required to understand the menu and how to properly place orders in the employer's computer system before becoming a waitress full time.
* Participants must be able to communicate effectively with all of the customers in English.
* Participants may be required to lift up to 20 pounds (10 kilograms). They will also be required to use cleaning chemicals and be able to work in warm climates.
* Participants are required to review menu items sent to them by the employer prior to arrival.
* Participants may be required to handle or prepare menu items containing pork.
* If ever a participant's hourly wage with tips should fall below the New Jersey minimum wage ($10.30 per hour for small employers and seasonal workers), the employer will supplement participants' wages so that they make at least $10.30 per hour.

Dress Code :
The employer will provide all food prep and line cook employees with a staff shirt and white apron at no cost.
In addition, each participant will need to bring with them khaki (light brown or tan) or black shorts or pants to wear while on shift. Participants also have to bring their own shoes and socks to wear while on shift.
Participants should bring non-slip, closed-toe shoes, for example sneakers or tennis shoes. Sandals or open-toed shoes are not allowed while on shift.
Participants with long hair (shoulder-length or longer) must wear their hair pulled back at all times, for example in a ponytail, and under a hat.
Job Description :
The participants hired for this position will begin training as dishwashers and food prep.
This includes but is not limited to:
⭐Cutting vegetables and making salads
⭐Slicing lunch meats
⭐Preparing sauces and making dough
⭐Washing dishes
⭐General clean-up in the kitchen
⭐Assisting in putting away weekly orders that may involve lifting cases of food products and flour
Once trained in these areas, the participants may then be requested to work in the position of line cook or sandwich maker.
While working as a line cook, duties will include:
⭐Preparing hoagies, sandwiches, salads, burgers, fried foods, wraps, and chicken wings
⭐Participants may also be given the opportunity to learn how to prepare pasta dishes and make pizza
Working as a line cook will require an understanding of the menu and food items the restaurant serves, as well as the ability to effectively communicate with the wait staff in English.
* Participants may be required to lift up to 50 pounds on a daily basis. * Participants will also be required to use cleaning chemicals and be able to work in warm climates.
* Participants are required to review menu items sent to them by the employer prior to arrival.
* Participants may be required to handle or prepare menu items containing pork.
* Participants may be eligible for a raise during the season at the employer is discretion, depending on their work performance.

Housing Description
⭐The employer has two housing options for participants, one for females only and one for males only.
⭐Female participants will be provided with a studio apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people. The address is 116 42nd St. The apartment is located on the ground floor of the Manager's private home and is 1 block from the restaurant. The apartment has its own private entrance and exit. There are two sets of bunk beds in the apartment and 1 full bathroom. There is no kitchen, but the apartment has a microwave and a small refrigerator/freezer located in a common dining area. There is also an outside shower for use when returning from the beach. A television with cable, bed sheets, and towels are provided. Rent is due each week on Monday.
⭐For male participants, the employer is currently working to secure a 1 bedroom apartment with kitchen and bathroom for 4 participants to share. Rent will be $90 to $100 per person per week. Housing details will be available by February 28, 2020.
