Activities Assistants create memories of outdoor adventures by celebrating community and doing the unexpected through the core values of enthusiasm, empathy, communication, and ownership. Responsibilities include but are not limited to engaging and initiating recreational activities such as soccer, softball, tubing, and other resort activities or sports. The Activities Assistant should encourage guests to play and have fun while staying at the property but must also keep the guests’ safety in mind. All associates may be expected to cross-train in multiple departments to provide opportunities to learn new skills and gain new experiences. General cleaning and additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor. Additional employment opportunities are available onsite.
Must have good English skills and be friendly and outgoing.

Dress Code: Participants must bring black or khaki pants or shorts (no shorter than one inch above the knee). Pants and shorts must be work-appropriate with no holes, rips/tears, or designer fads. Uniform shirts provided by employer at no cost to participants.
Required Qualifications: Participants must have very good English, be outgoing, and enjoy outdoor activities and sports. Customer service experience is preferred. Participants MUST have worked in the US previously and have a Social Security card upon arrival to the employer and will be required to complete a background check before beginning work.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to picking up after a guest, cleaning guests bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning of showers, sinks and toilets, keeping the guest rooms stocked accessories and bathrooms stocked with supplies, doing laundry, completing daily checklists and inspection of units. Some cleaning of common areas is required as well. Resort Attendants will be required to use cleaning chemicals. The position requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including heavy lifting, bending, standing for long periods of time, and walking up and downstairs. All participants may be expected to cross-train in multiple departments to provide opportunities to learn new skills and gain new experiences. Responsibilities include but are not limited to checking guests in and out in the main lodge as well as outdoors, answering questions, booking reservations in person and over the phone, resolving guest challenges, working with computerized reservations and point of sale systems, cash drawer responsibility and balancing, and stocking shelves. All participants may be expected to cross-train in multiple departments to provide opportunities to learn new skills and gain new experiences. Overtime hourly rate
1.5 x wage after 40 hours per week. Overtime hours may be available.

Housing Description
Housing is provided in cabins located on the property. The cabins have a queen bed and crawl in twin with a sleeping loft. They feature a shared living area, kitchen and full bathroom, cable TV, and outdoor living space featuring a porch, fire ring, and picnic table.
Housing Rate
$25 per person, per week. Rent is collected every two weeks, on the same day as pay day.
