Lifeguard - Noahs Ark Waterpark - $11.00 per hour as a shallow water lifeguard, $13.00 per hour for deep water lifeguard
Job Description :
This position is located at Noah's Ark Waterpark. Lifeguard duties include, but are not limited to: guarding deep and shallow water areas, ensuring park rules are followed, and keeping guests safe. Participants must assist guests with a smile. General cleaning and other tasks may be assigned by supervisor as necessary. Pay rate is $11.00 per hour for participants who start as shallow water lifeguards. Pay rate goes up to $13.00 per hour if participant passes the deep water skills test and works in a deep water lifeguard position. Participants must apply online prior to arrival. Must have good English skills and be friendly and outgoing.

Dress Code: The required uniform is provided by employer at no cost if it is returned at the end of the program. Participants may wear tennis shoes, sandals with a secure back, crocs or water shoes.
Required Qualifications: Good swimmer. Must be able to swim at least 50 meters. Must have excellent written and verbal English. Must pass Lifeguard & CPR certification exams after arrival. Certification is free of charge unless student is fired or leaves before program end date ($80 for deep, $70 for shallow). ALL lifeguards must be at Noah’s Ark by June 26th.

Housing Description
Most participants will live in new employee dormitories on-site. 4 people will share one room and one bathroom. Housing will have laundry facilities, a kitchen, convenience store, common area living room, and a small exercise room. Housing will also have a secured entrance and electronic key-card door locks for all rooms for added security. The cafeteria will serve breakfast and dinner for $5 per meal. Participants will also get 50% off all food and drink at the park whether they are working or playing. Some participants will live in various houses and motels nearby. All participants living in Noah's Ark housing will have access to the new dormitory amenities regardless of where they live. These alternate housing sites vary from 1-4 bedrooms, 1-2 bathrooms, and have varying amenities, but have access to all of the dormitory amenities. Participants are not required to live at employee housing and may move out if they have found alternate housing. Participant must discuss move out procedure with HR prior to leaving employee housing. For those who stay in employee housing, move out dates at the end of the season must be discussed with HR as well. Housing is guaranteed for active employees only.
