Job Description :
Position requires cleaning guest rooms and public areas of the hotel. Duties include but are not limited to cleaning guest bathrooms, making beds, removing guest linens, vacuuming, cleaning floors, showers, sinks, and toilets. Taking out trash, some cleaning of common areas and laundry duties will be required as well. Housekeeping requires participants to use cleaning chemicals. General cleaning and other duties may be assigned by the employer as necessary. Laundry duties include, but are not limited to, laundering and folding hotel linens. Job requires following specific instructions on service, as well as a lot of physical activity including standing for long periods of time, heavy lifting, bending, kneeling and walking up and down stairs.
Must have good English skills and be friendly and outgoing.
English Level: Good
Dress Code: Uniform provided by employer at no cost. Participant should bring closed-toed non-slip shoes. Participant is required to bring black pants. Participants may want to bring a rain coat.
Required Qualifications: Participant should speak good English, be able to take and follow instruction, work at a quick pace, be a hard worker, and have a positive attitude. Partiipant must also be able to lift at least 30 pounds and stand for long perioids of time. Participant should be comfortable handling cleaning chemicals.
