Job Description :
Language Level required for this position: Great

Wage details: All staff working as Food Service Team Members will start at the learning rate of $9.50 per hour for the first 100 hours of employment. After successfully completing the required orientation and training period [totally 100 hours]; all Food Service team members will be paid $10.00 per hour. The rate change will be effective the following Monday after the employee reaches the 100 hour threshold.

PLEASE NOTE: This training rate is paid for, approximately, the first 3 weeks of a participants program.

Basic Duties:
⭐ Cooking/Serving of various foods at park food stands
⭐ Food preparation
⭐ Stocking food locations
⭐ Cash handling/financial transactions
⭐ Customer service
⭐ Cleaning of stands

Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.
Participants will be handling pork products.

All positions are outdoors; team members are required to work in all weather conditions, including but not limited to: heat, rain, sun, cold, wind, humidity, and fog. Team Members must be able to stand for the duration of their shift (8-10 hours). Hours will be average over the course of the program, some weeks may be more than 35, some weeks may be less. Shifts may be cut short depending on if park attendance is low or for weather related reasons. This is the discretion of park management and it affects international and domestic employees alike. Must have basic knowledge of U.S. currency and ability to use a cash register.

After successfully completing the required orientation and training period [totally 100 hours]; all Retail team members will be paid $9.25 per hour. The rate change will be effective the following Monday after the employee reaches the 100 hour threshold.

PLEASE NOTE: This training rate is paid for, approximately, the first 3 weeks of a participants program.

Basic Duties include:
⭐ Cash handling on cash registers
⭐ Customer service
⭐ Taking and selling photos of guests as they enter the park and ride locations
⭐ Cleaning and stocking locations
⭐ Cross trained to assist in other Retail areas/stores as needed

RESTROOM ATTENDANT

Job Description :

Wage details: All staff working as Restroom Attendant will start at the learning rate of $9.50 per hour for the first 100 hours of employment. After successfully completing the required orientation and training period [totally 100 hours]; all Park Services team members will be paid $10.00 per hour.
The rate change will be effective the following Monday after the employee reaches the 100 hour threshold.
PLEASE NOTE: This training is paid for, approximately, the first 3 weeks of a participants program.

Participants are responsible for keeping the restrooms clean. Job duties entail:
⭐ Follow all guidelines and checklists applied to Restroom Cleanliness
⭐ Ensure that toilets and urinals are properly cleaned and disinfected.
⭐ Empty full trashcans and replace with new bags. Clean trashcans, as they become dirty.
⭐ Mopping floors
⭐ Working with cleaning chemicals
⭐ Requires continuous standing, bending, twisting, and lifting
⭐ Must be willing to actively approach Guests and provide assistance as necessary
⭐ Must be able to stand for length of shift
⭐ Must be able to carry up to 25 pounds over 25 feet over various surfaces

Positions are primarily in restrooms, however there is the opportunity to cross train to clean outside patios/midways/restaurants.

Housing is organized by Six Flags for participant use at multiple locations.
Housing is to be assigned based on availability at the discretion of Six Flags.

General layout of all housing:
⭐ Hotel style, fully furnished
⭐ Rooms are divided by gender.
⭐ Up to 4 per bedroom, each with separate bed; various styles of beds
⭐ Small refrigerator, Microwave
⭐ 1 shared bathroom
⭐ WiFi access
⭐ Laundry and food facilities within walking distance

PLEASE NOTE: Housing leases are secured for a period of time that matches each participant's program dates; participants are expected to stay in housing for the duration of their program dates. Deposit may be forfeited if participants leave without the approved advanced notice listed in the Housing Contract.

Participants are required to vacate housing within 72 hours of employment termination or ending employment early (quitting).
