Busser duties:
Remove finished plates and glassware from tables, sweep floors, and moved tables.

Additional duties include removing garbage and recyclable materials from the kitchen area to appropriate receptacles as well as sweeping and mopping, maintaining a clean workstation, assisting kitchen staff when required, and assisting in overall kitchen cleanliness.

Participants will come into contact with cleaning chemicals and wear rubber gloves.

This job requires standing for most of the shift so employees should be in good physical condition to stand for long periods of time. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required.

Bussers receive 1.5% of all food sales during their shift as their tips. Participants are guaranteed to make at least $10.00/hour including their tips in this position. If the average is not at least $10 per hour, the employer will provide additional wages to ensure the $10 per hour average.

Great English required.

Uniform : Bussers will be given one collared shirt with the company's logo on the front pocket. Additional shirts will be available to purchase at cost (around $10). All staff working in the front of the restaurant must wear dark wash jeans (must be dark, not faded with no rips or tears).

They must wear black closed-toe non-slip shoes and a back belt.

Housing Description

The employer has 3 different housing options for participants to live in. Participants will be living with other international participants from their own employer as well as participants working at the owner's other businesses in town. The options include houses and apartments that have from 1 to 5 bedrooms. There is high-speed WiFi, cable TV, full kitchen, and washer/dryer available in each housing option. There is no smoking allowed in the housing. The addresses are 40126, 40146, and 40050 NC HWY 12, Avon NC 27915. All housing options are located next door to other housing options provided by the employer. Assignments will depend on the participant's arrival date and the number of male and female participants who are hired.

*Rooms are gender-specific. Couples will not have the same room.

*No drug use is allowed. Random inspections will be conducted.

Housing Rate

$125.00 per week

Housing Deposit Required

The housing deposit is $200. The deposit is refundable if participants work the length of their contract and cause no damages to the house.
