Job Description :
Perform any combination of duties to assist the supervisor in maintaining an efficient, clean, and orderly housekeeping department. Tasks may involve transporting linen bags, preparing cleaning product bottles and tools, loading or unloading of supplies, and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
Minimum Skills and Abilities Required:
• The ability to read and understand information and ideas presented.
• Performs physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, such as in the physical handling of materials.
• Able to lift 40 pounds on a repeated basis. Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Serves as a representative of Brett/Robinson, displaying courtesy, tact, consideration, and discretion in all interactions with other employees of Brett/Robinson, owners, guests, and other members of the community
• Assists housekeeping staff, as needed, to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintains order and cleanliness within the housekeeping department.
• Transports trash to proper disposal locations.
• Inventories and replenishes supplies to include filling cleaning product bottles, as needed.
• Collects used linens from units and complex hallways, places in bags for laundering, and transports to the designated area.
• Unloads linen carts and appropriately places linens on shelves for easy Housekeeper access.
• Serves as a runner to deliver needed supplies to housekeepers.
• Maintains cleanliness and order within linen rooms/ storage closets.
• Reports safety hazards, accidents, and injuries.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Past activities have included trips to a baseball game, 4th of July celebrations, soccer nights, dolphin cruises, swing dancing, potluck dinners, volunteer events, trips to historical sites, and more!

Housing Description
Participants will share fully furnished 2-3 bedroom apartments. There will be 3-4 occupants per bedroom, with each apartment housing 6-9 occupants total. Each participant will have their own bed. There will be no more than 6 participants sharing one bathroom.
The housing includes a fully equipped kitchen, including all cookware and linens. Apartments will come minimally with a refrigerator, stove, kitchen table, chairs, sofa, and closets. Mixed-gender housing is not available. See additional comments for more details. There is a Service Fee of $125 per person per pay week. This includes:
- Rent, Internet, and Utilities
- Transportation to the worksite and the cultural activities
- Transportation to and from the airport
- Uniform Costs
- Activities and outings
**Housing is only available 2 days prior to the agreed-upon start date. Participants must move out within 2 days of their end date. Participants who end employment are required to move out of housing within 48 hours.
