Job Description :

A very good level of English is required for participants in this position. Participant must be friendly, motivated, and have a strong work ethic. Participant must also have a positive attitude and desire to learn. Some kitchen experience is preferred but not required. This employer provides a discounted/subsidized rent cost for participants. Second jobs are not allowed because the employer pays part of the rent and guarantees participants will be scheduled for at least 40 hours per week over the duration of the program. This position is at a very popular, busy restaurant located on the lakefront. Participants should expect to spend their entire shift standing while servicing the restaurant.

Housing Description

Housing is provided by the employer. The employer has proactively secured this housing because reasonably priced, affordable accommodations in the area are very limited. Any participant who moves out of the employer-provided housing will lose his/her housing deposit and previously paid rent. Participants live in shared houses or shared condos. Participants share rooms. There are 1-3 bathrooms in the housing. There are kitchens and living rooms in the houses and laundry facilities on-site. If participant chooses to live in employer housing, the cost of rent will be deducted automatically from paychecks incrementally throughout the season. Residents will review and sign a document upon arrival that verifies their understanding of the rent payment process.

Housing Rate

$1,200 for entire season. Housing will be payroll deducted incrementally throughout the season based on length of participant's program.
