Job Description :
A very good level of English is required for participants in this position. Participants must attend an orientation/training session before they begin work. Participants must be able to pay attention all the time, follow safety rules, be on time to work and work well with our guests and other workers. Customer service skills and safety are the top priorities. Participants will be working outdoors in all weather and standing all day. Participants will be doing repetitive tasks and will have a high level of customer contact, including interaction with small children. All participants will perform physical activities that require moving one’s whole body such as lifting, balancing, climbing, and stooping or bending. These activities also require considerable use of the arms, back, and legs. Participants may be required to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 23 kilograms on a repeated basis. Participants will be required to complete an employer-provided water safety course so that they can work in the water park, all participants must be willing to get in shallow water. Participants must be able to work with cleaning agents and chemicals. By accepting this position, participants are confirming that they are able to safely perform the essential functions of the job. The use of cell phones, iPods, and iPads (or similar devices) is strictly prohibited during work hours. Improper use of these devices during work hours could result in termination of employment. No facial piercings, offensive visible tattoos, or unnatural hair colors are permitted.

Job Description :

Participants must be able to focus and pay attention for long periods of time, be comfortable using the cash register, handling American currency, and following food handling procedures. Housing Description
Housing is located on-site at Enchanted Forest/Water Safari. Participants will live with other J-1 and American college-aged employees. Participants share a building (12-14 students per unit). There is a shared kitchen, coin-operated washer and dryers on-site, and free Wi-Fi in all houses. Participants are expected to participate equally in efforts to keep the entire house clean throughout the entire season to ensure the full refund of the deposit. Participants may be asked to move houses or bedrooms to consolidate at either the beginning or end of the season or any other time due to the unlikely circumstance of maintenance needs. If maintenance is required and/or there is requested maintenance within the housing unit, maintenance staff will enter the house to assess/fix the situation, with or without warning.
