ROOM ATTENDANT
Job Description :
Participants working as a Room Attendant are responsible for keeping the motel rooms, common areas, and surrounding grounds clean and organized.
General Duties:
⭐Cleaning guest rooms including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchenettes, sitting rooms, closets, and decks. Participants will be cleaning 1 or 2 bedroom motel units.
⭐Vacuuming of halls and guest rooms
⭐Cleaning of bathrooms, including toilets
⭐Changing linens
⭐Dusting fixtures in rooms
⭐Changing garbage and replacing garbage can liners
⭐Cleaning of common areas
⭐Basic upkeep of the property grounds including trash removal, hedge trimming, and cleaning of the pool deck.
Room Attendants must be able to work for long periods of time on their feet. Training will be provided and Room Attendants will be taught how to use any chemicals and cleaners required to do their job. Participants will need to be prepared to be working outdoors.
There is an opportunity to move up to leadership role as Housekeeping Lead with a wage increase of up to $9.50 per hour. This is not a guaranteed promotion and leads will be selected for their demonstrated ability to work independently, stay on task, and clean rooms in a proper and efficient manner

⭐Comfortable tennis or athletic shoes
The uniform shirt, pants or shorts, and name tag are provided free of cost to Participants.
Participants need to bring their own tennis or athletic shoes. Sandals or ballet slippers are NOT allowed.

Participants will be assigned to share either standard motel rooms or houses. Participants will be assigned housing upon arrival to United States. Participants should be prepared to live in either option:
Motel Rooms:
⭐ 2-4 participants per room, each with separate bed
⭐ Small refrigerator, microwave
⭐ Hot plates are available in the Employee Break Room for cooking
Houses:
⭐ 2-3 bedrooms with 2 people per room, each with separate beds
⭐ Shared kitchen facilities with basic cookwares
Both housing options include:
⭐ Cable and Wi-Fi access
⭐ All linens
⭐ Shared Bathrooms, up to 6 participants per bathroom
⭐ Fully furnished with closet, dressers, table, and chairs
Participants are expected to stay in the housing for the duration of their program dates. Participants are required to vacate the housing within 48 hours of employment termination or quitting. More details are included in the Additional Comments section.
