The Ride Attendant is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of one or more of Quassy Amusement Park's rides.
This is a physical position involving bending over and occasional lifting of empty two-person
water raft boats or children.
Team Members must be willing to accept the responsibilities of working with the public, as
they will be working directly with Park guests, including small children and their parents.
Team Members perform all duties including:
o Watching the ride or activity
o Operating any necessary controls
o Assisting guests
o Communicating safety instructions
o Answering questions
o Assisting guests as they exit and enter
o Cleaning the entire ride area
o Occasionally assisting guests off the ride using stairs and/or ladders
Participants will be using cleaning chemicals.

Participants are responsible for keeping the water park clean, attractive, safe, and orderly for guests.
Job duties include
- Keeping the park grounds and restrooms clean
- Regulating the use and function of water attractions
- Making sure people are acting in a safe and responsible manner
- Sweeping, mopping, and cleaning spills and vomit
Participants will be in direct sunlight and walking for almost the entire time.
Participants will be given breaks. Participants must be flexible to work a variety of tasks and shifts and work on weekends and holidays.
Participants must also have the ability to work at a fast pace and must enjoy being outdoors.
Participants will be in daily contact with American guests and must be able to answer questions about the park and give directions.
A typical weekly schedule is 5 days a week and schedules may vary or even shorter days.
Participants should talk to employer if they wish to have shorter shifts, but should still expect to work 35-40 hours a week.
Days off are assigned by employer.

and payment while also delivering food and excellent customer service.
Employees must be good with numbers and have the ability to multi task while counting and
handling money.
Participants in this position will also assist guests by answering general questions.
Cashiers will be operating a computer based system for making sales and processing payment.
Cashiers must be professional, polite, and reliable.
Employees must be able to stand for long periods of time, and must be able to communicate
effectively with guests. They must have a good working knowledge of U.S. currency and
excellent customer service skills.

the location is open.

- Up to 2 per bedroom, each with separate bed. Beds are single sized use only and some may be raised high off the floor.
