Job Description :
As a housekeeper, participants are responsible for cleaning (washing, dusting and vacuuming, tidying) guest rooms, rental units, and property common areas to the resort's high standards.
The accommodations that participants will be primarily cleaning are multi-room cabins that may sleep up to 12 people. Many of the cabins are complete with kitchens, bathrooms, and furnished living areas, which the participants will be responsible for cleaning. Job duties include :
- Picking up after a guest
- Preparing fresh linens (doing laundry)
- Making beds
- Dusting furniture and fixtures
- Washing floors
- Vacuuming carpeted areas
- Emptying trash cans
- Cleaning windows (usually less frequently)
- Cleaning the bathroom and toilet
- Cleaning public and guest areas
Great English required
Cleaning the outside porch areas and picnic tables
Pulling weeds (usually less frequently)
Keeping the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies
*Housekeepers will be using cleaning chemicals.
*No more than 15% of participants' hours will be scheduled for laundry duties.
*Participants must be physically able to climb stairs and perform tasks in the heat.
*Training is on the job and all hours are paid
*All employees must also agree to company policies in handbook.
*Participants will have use of golf carts during work hours, but there will be no use of golf carts
or other company vehicles when not working.

- Food preparation
- Cooking menu items
- Maintaining a clean work station
- Performing other cleaning duties as assigned, including cleaning restroom facilities and toilets.
- Performing cashier duties, as assigned.
* When cleaning the restaurant or bathroom facilities and toilets, participants will be using and coming into contact with cleaning chemicals.
* Participants in this position will be required to prepare and serve menu items containing pork.
If participants are unable to prepare or serve pork, then they should not apply for this position.
* To perform cashier duties, participants must have strong English communication skills and strong math skills, and they must be familiar with US currency.
