Job Description :
As a housekeeper, participants are responsible for cleaning (washing, dusting and vacuuming,
tidying) guest rooms and property common areas.
Job duties include picking up after a guest, preparing fresh linens (doing laundry), making
beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas, emptying trash
cans, cleaning windows (usually less frequently), cleaning the bathroom and toilet and keeping
the guest rooms stocked with accessories and the bathrooms stocked with supplies.
Housekeepers will be using cleaning chemicals. Laundry duties throughout the hotel are open
format where employees are walking in, out and around the laundry room. Laundry duties will
not exceed 15% of weekly hours.
Hotel room sizes range from single, double, and efficiency double sized Queen rooms. For

The provided housing will be in one of four houses owned by the
employer. Houses range from 2-6 bedrooms. Participants will be living
with 2 to a bedroom and 3-6 sharing each bathroom. Each participant
will have their own bed (on a single or bunk bed). Housing is fully
furnished with a kitchen, dining room and living space that include the
amenities below. There is a washer/dryer onsite in each house and a
Smart TV to use. The employer provides transportation to and from
work.
Room inspections will take place every 2 weeks with a 24-hour notice.
Participants can opt to have their rent payroll deducted or pay their rent
to Tariq each payday (every 2 weeks) by cash, check or debit/credit card.
