Position :

Deck Duty/Busser - $10 per hour

Job Description :

The responsibilities of the deck/busser position include clearing tables, taking dirty dishes to the dishwasher, and making sure the front of the house is neat and clean. Duties also include helping clean the front of the house/restaurant in the morning prior to opening, taking out the trash, sweeping the floor, and keeping all tables cleared and clean. Cleaning restrooms may also be required as well as other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Required Qualifications: Participants must have Good English, be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy being part of a team.

Uniform Requirements: Participants must bring stone or black colored pants or shorts, and comfortable closed-toed and non-skid shoes (athletic shoes are fine). Employer provides uniform shirts and jackets at a cost of $40 to $50 deducted from payroll.

Job Description :

Participants will work in a food concession and learn how to prepare food and beverage items according to customer orders. Responsibilities include cleaning, washing dishes, preparing various recipes, opening and closing processes, and using basic equipment such as a grill and fryer. Participants will also be responsible for handling US currency and operating a point of sale system. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor.


Required Qualifications: Participants must have Excellent English skills and be flexible to work in all positions including preparing recipes and food, taking customer orders, and operating the cash register.

Job Description :

The Kitchen Staff position is responsible for working various stations in a fast-paced kitchen under the direction of an experienced kitchen manager. Responsibilities include cooking various menu items, following food safety guidelines, stocking, cleaning, washing dishes, daily opening and closing procedures, working as part of an energetic team, and becoming a strong member of the kitchen staff. Additional duties may be assigned by the supervisor.


Required Qualifications: Participants must have Good or Very Good English, be willing to learn, and have a positive and energetic attitude.

Participants will live in the Boardwalk Employee Housing Dormitory. Participants will share a 2 bedroom unit with 1 full bathroom and one-half bathroom. Each unit is fully furnished with a full kitchen.
