Job Description :

We have two main positions. The Ice Cream Treat Maker will be making ice cream treats like ice cream sundaes, cones, malts, shakes, DQ Blizzards, general cleaning, and interacting with customers at the front counter. The Kitchen Staff will be making food items like burgers, chicken, french fries, cheese curds and general cleaning. Participants are eligible for performance-based wage increases.

Must have good English skills and be friendly and outgoing.

English Level: Excellent

Dress Code: Uniform shirt and hat provided by employer at no cost. Participant should bring jeans and closed-toed shoes to work in.

Required Qualifications: Must be able to work for extended periods of time while standing. Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds (13.6 kg) and be comfortable using common cleaning chemicals

Housing Description

The housing organized by the employer is a former church that has been converted into a dormitory for international students. There will be 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Each bedroom will hold 2-4 people, though most rooms will accommodate 3 people. Bedrooms will have twin beds and a dresser and closet for students to use. The bedrooms will be gender specific but the bathrooms and common areas will be co-ed and shared by males and females. The building is three stories and on one of the floors there is a large common kitchen with an oven, fridge, and stovetop. There are coin-operated laundry machines located on site. There is also a large common area where students will be able to socialize. All utility and internet costs are included with rent, and bed linens will be provided by the housing provider.
